HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 1st JOINT AIDPIT AND EPITA WINTER SYMPOSIUM AND 30th AIDPIT WORKSHOP
The Workshop took place from the 23rd to 25th of January 2011 at Igls in Austria with delegates from all over Europe. The opening lecture was Adventures in transplantation: From the first pancreas transplants to the first hand and face transplants given by Jean-Michel Dubernard from department of Urology and Transplantation Surgery at Edouard Herriot Hospital in Lyon, France.
The Ernst-Friedrich Pfeiffer Memorial Lecture was Physiological replacement of insulin by injection or infusion: How close do we get? given by Edwin Gale from University of Bristol, UK.
